Hi there!

Yeah, this isn't really going to be much of a post. As usual, my life consists mostly of studying and failing tests. One recent high point:
Carl took me to James at the Mill on Saturday night. We got all dolled up and had a lovely time. This was followed by getting un-dolled up and heading to Felicia's 25th birthday redneck bash. Again, we had a lovely time but of a different sort.

During study breaks, I've been reading Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman. It's interesting and well-written, like pretty much everything else he's done. I think I've decided that he's my favorite modern writer, what with great graphic novel and comic book work, excellently creepy children's stories, and amazing novels. I recently bought MirrorMask (writer: Neil Gaiman, director: Dave McKean) on DVD, and let me tell you, it was not disappointing. If you like visual art, good storytelling, wonderful acting, and general Labyrinth-ish weirdness (minus tights-clad David Bowie), you'll love it. Ash Wednesday is this week, which means Fat Tuesday is tomorrow. My plans? Studying all day and taking a couple of online quizzes. The excitement never stops.
